The
Technical Learning Profile (TLP) is a quick and easy way
to determine skill levels - both before and after taking
classes. The TLP is an objective assessment that asks
multiple choice questions based on the skills and tasks
of a job profile. For example, if you are completing a
TLP for a Solaris System Administrator job profile, you
may be asked to identify the file used to restrict root
access. |
|
 |
After you complete the TLP, an education consultant
analyzes the results and provides you with a personalized
report with information concerning your current knowledge
of the tasks for the job profile you chose. For a pre-training
assessment, the report includes a suggested learning path.
For a post-training assessment, the report may include
suggested topics for review prior to a certification exam.
 |
 |
Each Sun Corporate Learning Pass you purchase includes
TLP Assessments. You will be contacted by your Education
Representative to discuss your assessment needs and the
specific TLPs to be taken BEFORE anyone
attends training courses. |
